River Łupawa from a bridge in Damnica to a bridge in Damno
A wild stream, its rapids interweaving with slower places. Tree trunks and rocks strewn on the river bed. The river is deeper here with depth averaging 80-150cm. River corners with undercut banks are overgrown with beech trees. Little islands scattered here and there. Sizeable grayling can be caught here. Depending on circumstances they can be approached with nymphs, wet flies or dry flies. When fishing this stretch of Łupawa, one can imagine what the rivers looked like centuries ago in Europe. Daily fishing is also regulated here by a special set of rules and restrictions.
